Badminton Horse Trials 

When: Wednesday 7th – Sunday 11th May 2025

Where: Badminton Horse Trials, Badminton, Glos, GL9 1DF.

Tickets: The Badminton Box Office will open for priority booking on Monday 6th January 2025 at 9am.  Priority booking is for those who have previously registered by purchasing tickets in advance. The general release of tickets will be on the 13th January.

The Badminton Horse Trials is one of the world’s premier equestrian events, held annually in early May at the Duke of Beaufort’s estate in Badminton, Gloucestershire, England. This prestigious three-day eventing competition, also known as ‘three-day event’ or ‘horse trials,’ combines dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. It’s a major highlight on the equestrian calendar, drawing elite riders and horses from around the world.

The trials began in 1949, founded by the 10th Duke of Beaufort, who wanted to provide British riders with a chance to prepare for international competitions like the Olympics. Over the years, Badminton has grown into one of the most challenging and respected events in the equestrian world, becoming a critical test of skill, endurance, and partnership between horse and rider. Today, it’s one of just six events in the world classified as CCI5*-L, the highest level in the sport of eventing.

Winning here is a pinnacle achievement, as it offers significant prize money and points towards international rankings. Defender Burghley Horse Trials 

When: Thursday 4th - Sunday 7th September 2025

Advertised as the world’s greatest 5* equestrian event, Defender Burghley attracts fantastic crowds to witness exhilarating equestrian action alongside browsing the world-renowned shopping avenues in this truly stunning location.

Held every September, this three-day event is a comprehensive test of the all-around ability of the horse and rider, comprising Dressage, Cross Country and Jumping.
